Jack Kiesel, Principal

Jack Kiesel, an award-winning graduate of California Polytechnic, San Luis Obispo, California, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture, has over 20 years of experience in landscape architecture, urban design, graphic art, native wildland restoration, and planning. He is licensed as a Landscape Architect in California, Nevada, and Arizona.

 

Jack Kiesel's work has been featured in Dwell, Green Magazine, Apartment Therapy, Central Coast Magazine, Edhat, Landscape Architecture, Luxury Gardens, This Old House, The Los Angeles Times, Sunset, Ventana, 805 Living and the cover of Wine Country Living.

Torrey Slininger, Design Associate

Torrey graduated with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Design from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2016. She currently serves as the project manager coordinating the development of all landscapes for Raising Cane's in Southern California. Her background is in graphic design and urban planning as well as landscape architecture, and she enjoys helping to create public spaces that are designed to be enjoyed by everyone within a community.

Brian Jordan, Design Associate

Brian received his Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He is a licensed landscape contractor who started his own design-build landscape business, focusing primarily on residential work. Brian has combined his previous job experiences in plant sales and project management to develop a well-rounded approach to landscape design and implementation. He embraces the learning process and enjoys the complexity that many landscape architecture projects demand.

Yitong Zhang, Design Associate

Yitong graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture at University of California, Davis. In the past few years of studying and internships, she had a variety of experiences related to landscape design, including campus design, habitat restoration, water-wise garden research, and irrigation installation. Yitong is most interested in creating energy-efficient landscape designs that balance human use in natural spaces, and her school work has been featured in Landscape Architecture Magazine.

Benjamin Perez, Design Associate

Benjamin graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture. He has obtained experience in residential, commercial and master planning work. His experience stems from a diverse array of project involvement throughout his career and experiencing the various phases of design and construction. He is highly interested in connecting a community’s culture through functional green spaces.
